running trails

This year I really want to do some trail running! What are some trails you run? I know there is Bonneville Shoreline and there's one up Millcreek. Is there a website that shows a bunch? I've been looking but not finding much
happy running!

I definitely recommend getting into trail running. Utah has some beautiful trails that make running so enjoyable. A couple of websites I would check for some trail ideas would be: http://www.utahmountainbiking.com/ This is a mountain biking website, but it has really good detailed descriptions of trails and how to get to them.
Another website I would check out if you live in Weber County is http://www.weberpathways.org/index.asp

If you have a smartphone the Alltrails app is a good one. It shows quite a few trails in the area as well as the distance of the trail, the degree of difficulty, and other users can post their own reviews. It is GPS enabled so if you find a trail that isn't in the app, you can create a new one. It even let's you add pictures and then saves it for the next time.

I have an Iphone and use the Alltrails app as well. I love it. I have found some really neat trails with this app. Also I have an old school map that I got from the forest service that has all the hiking trails on it. I know with all this technology who needs a paper map. I don't take it with me but I do use the map in conjunction with the Iphone app. I love trail running and I think once you start doing it you'll love it too. Just take it slowly at first and don't injury yourself.
