My name is Candice. I have been serving in the Army for 6 years. I really like running! I'm not the fastest, but I never quit! Unfortunately, I've never run so much as a 1/2 marathon or even a 5k due to lack of $, but I've always wanted that opportunity. 

I would love the chance to run the Wasatch back! I would also like to represent such a great organization as the American Cancer Society. Please post a comment and give me this chance!

Thankfully, my family has been blessed and is basically cancer-free. Sadly, the opposite is true for husband's family. They have gone through the devastation of losing many family members to various types of cancer. It's horrible to see good people try so hard to always eat healthy foods, exercise, get enough sleep, abstain from alcohol and tobacco, only to watch helplessly as their bodies become consumed by cancer. 

I believe in our doctors and scientists that are working diligently to find a cure. Our medicines and technologies today are amazing! We've come so far! Let's help them find a cure by raising money and awareness.

You can't go wrong by choosing Kim. Did you know that she completed the 100 Push Up Challenge? She can do 100 consecutive push ups on her toes!! She donates blood so often the needle jumps in her arm when she walks in the door. When she wants something, she goes after it. I doubt she's ever given up on anything in her entire life. She is one tough little cookie.
